Requesting consent

To be able to use the bronID API, you will have to request consent from your users in your data collection forms. The consent request should be in the following format:

• I confirm that I am authorised to provide the personal details included here, whether on my behalf or for another person or entity. I consent to these details being checked with the document issuer or official record holder via bronID or other third-party systems for identity verification purposes. I also agree for these details and the results of the verification to be stored for audit and compliance purposes.
